Friends COFFEE & TEA Brews Opportunities for People with Disabilities
With a vision to break the 90+% unemployment rate in the special needs community, FCSN strives to create an employment platform. We offer skill training and job opportunities for the developmentally disabled. After two and half years of long preparation, FCSN has fulfilled a dream: Friends COFFEE & TEA celebrated its grand opening on April 19, 2018. All the elements encompass FCSN’s mission of finding love, hope, respect and support through integrated community involvement.
Friends is the first coffee shop exhibition in the Bay Area that offers eye-catching artworks handcrafted by special needs individuals. Their talents soar above stereotypes and expectations. Serving as a bridge, Friends brings disability awareness and builds a vibrant community, where people have a sense of belonging and acceptance.
“Your life may not turn out the way you planned,” says Anna Wang, FCSN co-founder, “but your journey can be much fuller because of FCSN.”
